Everytime I see an iPod dock I think "Yawn, we've seen it before" and we have. Repeatedly. But that doesn't stop this Shanling MC-30 Music Center being worth a look.
Rather than your bog-standard iPod meets speakers combo, this system combines an iPod dock with a full Hi-Fi system. A CD player and AM/FM radio are included in this unit, which is also a powerful amp to power whatever speakers you hook up to it. It looks pretty good and the legs serve as controls, which is funky. It's a fairly whopping $1000, but with such an enviable set up it'll definitely temp some credit cards out of wallets.
