Samsung are bringing out two new compact silver cams, each with 2.5" LCD displays, 3 x optical zoom and built in Intelligent Face Recognition Technology for sharper, better shots. The L730 boasts 7 megapixels and the L830 weighs in at (no prizes for guessing) 8, otherwise they're very similar both in terms of looks and availability. The price difference isn't huge, either, with the L730 available for £119 and the L830 priced at £149. You can also choose from four movie capture modes, up to a resolution of 800 x 592, so even though this isn't like the Casio YouTube-optimised cams, there's still a good chance of taking some decent video on a relatively inexpensive camera.
