
As someone who's had a slipped disk and back surgery to pin it all back in place (no, I don't set off metal detectors), back-friendly chairs are high on my list of praiseworthy furniture (no, I don't actually have such a list). Although the semi-reclined position looks a little like a dentist's chair, it's actually very back-supportive, pitching eyes and screen at the right angle and distance, and padding out the neck and lumbar region. Adjustable arms and footrests mean that this chair and computer table in one is thoroughly customisable. Now just weigh up cost of purchase vs cost of surgery / insurance when you see the price: $4,300.
