Ever known someone who has shoes that are lovely and comfy but just that bit too whiffy for any future wear? Perhaps your sibling or flatmate decorates the house with their well-worn and smelly footwear, or maybe you yourself shamelessly admit to cheesy trainers. Well, the Shoe Pure 100 shoe dehydrator claims to be able to offer them a new lease of non-stinky life and save your nasal passages while it's at it. Arms unfold from the egg-shaped centre, onto which are hung the shoes. Give it 30 minutes or so, and you'll be presented with disinfected, dried and much less anti-social shoes. They're only available in Japan, somewhere in the region of £35, but you can probably get one shipped over if you beg, or threaten them with your old running shoes.
