Yay or Nay Wednesday: 2012 London Olympic logo

The London Olympic logo caused a fair amount of outrage this week, when a moblogger was the first to reveal it. Since then, it's been discovered that an animated version of the logo causes epileptic fits, so all in all, it's been a pretty crummy week for poor old Lord Sebastian Coe.

So, we want to give them another chance. Surely someone out there must like it? Is it you? Alternatively, have a look at the ones designed by people who reckon they could give us a better option (courtesy of the BBC), and let us know what you think about them.

Definately not a fan my 7 year old cousin could have done better for a packet of sweets than these guys have done for £400k. I like number 1 of the ones you've shown apart from the cheesy one liner at the bottom.

Nay! I like number one.

# 1 is the classiest and cleverest logo I have to see for any of the Olympiqs, not just 2012. James Wren has my vote

I like the first one, too. Although the thickness of the "L" seems out of porportion with the rest of it, and it would probably be better to use the capital letter "L". Also, I'm not sure if the Olympic committee people would frown on there being an open gap in one of the five rings.

Number 4 cracks me up. The official people in charge of these things would certainly never go for that. Hee.
