So, they're going to be rarer than dust made of gold, but I'm determined to get my sticky fingers on an iPhone. So much so that at some absurdly early hour tomorrow morning I will be leaving these British shores to find my fortune/iPhone in New York.
I have a few tricks up my sleeve on how I'm going to get one (queueing is not an option, due to an unfeasibly small bladder), but if you have any suggestions on how I might go about finding one, please *please* drop me a comment. If you had an iPhone, what would you swap it for? A Nokia? A PS3? A night on the tiles? C'mon. What do Americans want??

The iPhone will work in part over here, though you'd need to be a US citizen in the first place to get hold of one. You'd just need to tell AT&T to switch on international roaming, and pay some exorbitant charges.
There's also something about the contract being terminated if more than 4 consecutive months' worth of calls are made outside the US.
