A Japanese firm have developed a 'glove' which claims to feel 3D images. Seriously. The Tangible 3D system includes software that will change you into a 3D image and allow you to feel the actions and movements of those you interact with, or feel objects in 3D as though they were right there in front of you.
The designers at NTT Comware are reportedly gearing towards use with video phones so you could feel as though you were holding hands with whoever you interact with. Which sounds a heart-wrenchingly lovely idea, but I bet it's bought by porn sites. (Sorry, the truth hurts.)
