Snail mail joins the 21st Century with eSnailer

eSnailer is a website which hopes to revive the letter, bringing it into the 21st century. Because, for some reason nobody can quite define, we all hanker after the days when we used to receive ‘real’ letters. You know, the kind that came in envelopes, with handwriting, a few kisses at the end, maybe a couple of stickers, perhaps emblazoned with S.W.A.L.K. We liked them. But the computer’s just right here in front of me and my handwriting’s all messy, and I don’t have a stamp…

Enter eSnailer. The site opens with an envelope on which you type the address you want to send a letter to. Next you type the letter, and eSnailer print it, envelope it, seal it, and send it to your recipient for free via U.S. snail mail. How is it free? Because you’ll be mildly accosted by a free offer after you’ve sent your letter. A small price to pay. The one snag is that your letter won’t be in your handwriting. Unless, of course, you’ve had it turned into a font by Scrappinfun.
