Shiny at the iPhone launch: There's a girl in the queue!!

So, there's all the questions you could ask me about the atmosphere at the Apple store, which features people are looking forward to seeing, how long they've been waiting. But if you're reading this blog, you're likely to interested in the following question: Just what was the male:female ratio?

The answer? Approximately 10:1. And of those 1s, about 75% of them were there with their boyfriend. (Work out what proportion of females were there alone from that and you deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Or whatever it is they give to mathematicians). I did however find one of the only girls in the queue - the lovely Marina from Brooklyn. Read on to see why she's excited (and apologies about the sound, she was as quiet as a Brooklyn mouse).
