Scalextric - robots cars in disguise

Scalextric and Transformers - two of the best things to come out of my childhood (scrunchies being the other one). And since one is being resurrected into a film (Transformers, obv) the other has joined forces to create some kind of 80s toy dream mash-up.

The cars apparently transform into robots, and even battle against each other when converted into their robot characters, trying to knock each other off the track with their extended arms. So now, there's speed, there's violence, and there's robot technology. It's like heaven.
