
Nicole Kidman is the face of a new pan-European campaign for Dr. Kawashima’s ‘More Brain Training’ series due to launch on 29 June for Nintendo DS. Adverts feature Nicole puzzling over exercises and memorizing numbers as part of the 60-day programme frighteningly entitled ‘Dr. Kawashima: How Old is Your Brain?’ So how does the Moulin Rouge star feel she rates in the brain department? “I’ve quickly found that training my brain is a great way to keep my mind feeling young,” she said.
The campaign follows Microsoft’s competition to create games with an eco-theme and marks a continuing trend to make gaming more meaningful and socially conscious. Will it catch on? Only if we all admit to concerns we’re getting stupider by the day.
