Naturalist computer ideas - Wood Keyboard from Marubeni Infotec

If you're not particularly enthused about matte plastic keyboards, this wooden variety by Marubeni Infotec is fresh off the factory line. It all seems a bit weird to me, as if this quite pretty piece of gear should be a bizarre ornament instead of a functioning peripheral for your PC or Mac.

You may have seen me moaning about recycling in recent posts, so needless to say this doesn't really excite me in any way. Surely manufacturers should be spending these thousands on combatting waste, instead of opting for another natural resource to exhaust.

If you're still intrigued, the keyboard is accompanied by various other wooden peripherals including USB memory sticks. They aren't on shelves yet but keep your eyes peeled.
