A few weeks ago, we'd all have been bowled over by Kodak announcing two new 12 megapixel cameras. But since Casio and Panasonic have both announced their 12.1 and 12.2 megapixel cameras respectively, I'm feeling a little 'meh' about these latest offerings.
The Z1275 has a 1/1.72-inch CCD, 5x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon optical zoom lens, 2.5-inch LCD and the ability to record ability to record 1280 x 720 video in MPEG-4 format. The ZD710 has 10x optical zoom, 2-inch LCD, a high ISO for snapping in dim light and Digital Image Stabilization.
They're going to be available in August, although no word on pricing.
