Green gadgets for festival goers

Those clever boys and girls at Orange have come up with a little gem of a product. This isn't just a pretty garden ornament, this windmill is a wind powered phone charger. Brilliant! The Texas researchers designed this charger wanting to create a product "that would take into account the unpredictable English climate to ensure a constant energy source".

Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly, you can't just pop down to curries to get one of these for you and your mates, but the prototypes will be on display at Glastonbury this year. And maybe they'll let you plug your phone in to call your mum.
