Archos has unveiled a new line of personal media players, dubbed "Generation 5". There are three new ranges, the 405, 605 and 705, and each support Flash-based video from the likes of YouTube.
Tech Digest got a closer look on behalf of the Shiny Team; they reported on the built in WiFi and DVR capabilities using the Archos DVR Station accessory. There also appears to be a large range of storage capacities - from 2GB for the £119.99 405 to a huge 160GB for the larger of two 705 models, which also tote a 7" screen. No word on prices for the 705, but the 605 touchscreen mid-range model comes in at £149.99.
We'll be getting our hands on an advance unit soon (they're not expected until August), so watch this space.
