I have got to get myself a tablet computer, as the way forward is portable computing sitting at this desktop computer all day working is no fun.
I wonder if the Toshiba Portégé R400 shows the screen well in direct sun light, as I would love a tablet I could use this summer in the garden.

A fair question, Daniel. There was a certain amount of unavoidable glare (as we found when trying to film close-ups and battling reflections caused by strong lighting) but it wasn't unusuably bad... having said that, I wouldn't recommend it on that basis.
