Put your songs in your headphones: Tune Phones

Some clever chap or chapette out there looked at someone whose headphones had come detached from his MP3 player on the tube, struggling to get them plugged in again or trying to avoid strangulation from the wire, and thought: who needs the little box at the end of the wire? Hang on, who needs the wire? Let’s dispose of both. We’ll store the tunes *in* the headphones! And Tune Phones were born.

Lightweight at just 2.2 ounces, and with an eight hour battery life, the Tune Phones hold 512MB of songs in their built-in MP3 player. While this is not huge, remember that they are headphones, so you’re not going to be storing any movie files on there, and if your commute’s longer than 512MB of songs, you’ve got more problems than just tune storage. There are four buttons on the right earpiece, a USB port of course, and nothing else. No wire, no player, no nothing. Isn’t that a neat solution?
