Palm officially launched the long awaited Treo 755p today. To anyone familiar with it’s predecessor, the 700p, there will be no surprises in the 755p. However, it does contain pretty much everything you need. It combines a smart phone with wireless email, a built-in web browser, and media capabilities, all at apparently broadband-like speeds. It contains built in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF supporting software and, of course, has a little QWERTY keyboard. The touchscreen is 320 x 320 pixels, and it has 128MB of RAM, a 321MHz XScale processor, a miniSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 1.2 and 1.3 megapixel camera among other gems.
The new Treo is available exclusively from Sprint in burgundy and blue. Retail price will be $279.99 with service agreement.
