Here's the thing. Motorola's new phone is forever going to be known as the Razr 2, which is a particularly uninspiring name. I can imagine the marketing meeting, where they got all excited about the fact that they'd squared the power of the original Razr, but realistically? It's not going to work. Having said that......
The specs aren't too shabby though. It's 2mm thinner than the previous Razr, and features vacuum metal finishes and chemically hardened glass - all very Bionic Phone. There's the ability to text pre-programmed SMSs without opening the clamshell, and it apparently boasts the largest external display around. There will apparently be a number of different version, with the top-of-the-range model boasting 2GB off onboard memory. There's also some super-whizzy video functionality, which is a "point-to-point video feature3 that allows another wireless customer to “See What I See”". Nope, I have no idea either.
Our own Katie Lee is actually at the launch as we speak, so will hopefully be returning to us with more details shortly. We'll keep you updated.
