The blogosphere is awash with announcements of Microsoft's new touchscreen technology. Surface is a 22" table which uses a short-throw projector for its display and 5 cameras to recognise objects placed on it. Many hands can prod and poke at the table at the same time, and common tasks are rendered with Minority Report-style simplicity. Aimed primarily at businesses, Surface will be available towards the end of the year.
