Unobtrusiveness is behind the design of Sony’s new micro DAV-IS10 home theatre system, and it begins by having five tiny speakers, each the size of a gold ball. The 5.1 channel home-theater-in-a-box system, matched with a compact, single disc DVD/CD player/receiver, includes a unique subwoofer that helps the tiny speakers create sounds typically reserved for full size speakers.
The system features Sony's new BRAVIA Theater Sync technology for communicating with BRAVIA panels over HDMI and should be easy to setup with the help of Sony's Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) optimization tech. The touch-sensitive controls and a Digital Media Port enabling WiFi and Bluetooth streaming, and iPod docking among other accessories, makes it another good Sony success story.
