Freshly Baked USB drives are not the dumbest gadgets ever - that is taken by the solar-powered rainbow maker - but the idea that these hunks of unappetizing plastic have any kind of "fresh" quality is both dubious and depressing. Both lacking in whimsy and just adding bulk to what should be a slimline peripheral, their plastic pizza slabs and hot dogs just seem like advertisements for unhealthy lifestyles and consumerism.
