When I started blogging for Shiny Shiny, I used the occasion as an excuse to buy a new bag. Actually, if I sneeze, I see that as the perfect excuse for a new bag, but nonetheless, I spied Timbuk2's Blogger online and had to have it.
And have it I do. It has a padded internal laptop compartment and I was attracted by the internal MP3 slot, as well as the vertical orientation of the bag. Also cool is the front zippered pocket with space for pens, OysterCard (MetroCard, bus pass, whatever), and your other bibs and bobs. Though I bought the bag in anticipation of excessive blogger productivity, I actually ended up most enamored of the key tether inside the bag. The bag's made of ballistic nylon and, luckily, it has a padded strap. Honestly, all the pockets are great, but it weighs a ton. As a consequence, the Blogger has slowly buy surely become the bag I only use if I'm traveling by airplane. Verdict? Pockets-yea! Spinal damage-noooo!
