Yay or Nay Wednesday: Nokia N95

nokia_n95.jpgNokia have really pushed the advertising boat out with the N95, even going so far as interactive bus stop entertainment.

Was it worth the effort? Has Nokia convinced you that this is full-on mobile PC phone? Has our review made you lust after one? Do you refuse to commit your whole life to a single piece of gadgetry? Do tell.

Last week we wondered if the world was ready for a dual Bluray / HD-DVD player. The response was a resounding erm, maybe, possibly, dunno, which just goes to show something, I'm sure.

    Totally disagree with the above comments. I have this phone and it's fab. Used to have a WM5 MDA which was forever crashing and losing data. The N95 isn't as big as it looks, works seemlessly and has great sound and picture quality. With a bit of shopping around you can get a really good deal on it. Give it a couple of months and you'll probably be able to bag a free one if you threaten to leave your operator. Totally fantastic phone!

    Nay for now. I think I've been spoiled by my Treo's qwerty keyboard. Going to a keypad would be a regression that I couldn't handle. If anything pushed me to get the N95 it would be the 5 megapixel camera.

    Not sure it's worth the price. I'm very happy w/my pocket pc...I wouldn't run out to get this one. Although your review was very entertaining!

    Borked VOIP on Orange and Vodaphone as they can't sort out how to charge you for it. And, as stated mobile data is too expensive at the moment to be used viably unless your on an unlimited tariff.

    And given all the connection methods I bet the batter life is "limited" to put it kindly.

    Nie toy but I prefer my phone to be slim and unobtrusive in my pocket.
