The makers of the USBCELL are mostly excited about their new pastel range of USB-rechargeable batteries, and the realisation that its time rechargeable batteries joined the 21st century and became fashion-conscious. (They have tartan and camouflage ranges in the pipeline.) But what I’m more excited about is how clever and dinky these USB batteries are!
They take the much-exploited power source, the USB port – which, lets face it, is used to charge more unnecessary gadgets than even an in-car charger – and turn it to great use. The batteries themselves plug right into the USB port, with no need for a charger, any wires, or anything else at all but the battery. Who cares whether it’s pastel coloured? It’s just such a good design!
