Now I’m no DJ, but it’s not hard to tell that there are purists out there who think the idea of digital DJ-ing is a joke, and it’s not really DJ-ing unless you have total manual control over those – what do you call them – records. However, since the Hercules mixer is wireless, it can be taken away from your PC, as long as you maintain the wireless connection. So, you and everyone else around can choose tracks without having to be right by the PC. And it can do autoplay as well, when choosing tracks becomes too much like hard work.

If you are a proper DJ, you might like to know that despite being sinfully digital, it still has a two deck controller allowing you to mix, scratch and synchronise CDs, MP3 tracks and WAV files; an integrated double screen showing the details of the tracks; cross fader; pitch and volume, so there.
