USB Gloves keep your hands warm and your fingers free

Much more feminine than other USB gloves on the market, these wooly mittens claim to raise the temperature of your chilly hands by 5 degrees in ten minutes. With two levels of heat available, holes for your fingers that are perfect for typing, and a really quite kitsch design, the only down side is that they require one USB socket each, which could get in the way of your USB air freshener, USB mug warmer and oh, maybe something boring like a printer.

Actually though, do you need to plug them in? I mean, wouldn’t wooly gloves keep your hands warm anyway? Isn’t that what gloves DO?

I actually have a pair of these -- got them as a gift because I type all day and have notoriously cold hands. It's a nice idea, but the problem is that the heating unit is in the mitten part, which you have to pin back away from your fingers in order to type. And that, you know, sort of defeats the warming effect.
