Sony have rolled out a new phone for their Walkman collection, and whaddyaknow, a snap-on speaker (MPS-75), which can be powered by your phone, or you can stream your choons via Bluetooth. The W660 mobile comes in 'Record Black' or 'Rose Red', and features something called TrackID, which actually identifies a sample of music via the Gracenote Mobile MusicID database. How handy would that be when you're in a bar that's got some killer tracks a-happening, and you need to identify the artist, stat?! Not only that, but it can store up to 470 tunes on the Memory Stick Micro card you're supplied with, a 2 megapixel camera, plus RSS fees that can be sent directly to the phone's desktop, ensuring you'll never miss a Shiny Shiny post while on the run. The phone and speakers will be released mid-2007, and prices are yet to be confirmed.
