Love 'em or loathe 'em, slogans on t-shirts are one fad that seems never to have budged. Jamelia performed last week in a shirt declaring her support for Ms Spears, and whilst cynics might brand her someone seeking publicity off the back of someone's downfall, here at Shiny Shiny, we would never do so. Even though she'd thought of a clever pun, to illustrate her point. It did however, make us reminisce about some of the best (read: geeky) t-shirt slogans we've seen around.. Read on for our Top 5, and the opportunity to inspire us in a whole range of Shiny Shiny clothing ways.

1. Illustrating a love of both Led Zeppelin and Zelda, the Hot Topic shirt had me crying into my tea with envy. Whether it's the washed out 'new? This old thing?' grey or the fact that the model has a serious looking tattoo, I don't know. What I do know, is that for a little while, I wanted to be her.

2. Meh.

3. Spam on a shirt. Whether you use your own inbox as inspiration, or go for one of the old classics ("She WILL say it's too long") wearing your junk mail with pride has never been so hot.

4. Fractions speak louder than nerds. Nerds and geeks are blood brothers, and as such, can safely indulge in each other's clothing choices. Despite never really getting quadratic equations, let alone the complicated stuff on the board behind the model in the photo, I reckon I could rock this.

5. You Looked Better on MySpace. Mainly in response to the service I discovered the other day, where you can pay to have attractive people add you as a friend on MySpace. And because *everyone* looks better after a session on PhotoShop.

So come on - the best you've seen? The slogan you want made into a T-shirt? And most importantly, something suitably Shiny Shiny for us to adopt as a staff uniform (we miss our days working at McDonalds)?
