It's not often that a company realises they're screwing you out of money and decide to fix it. But, that's exactly what Apple have done with the Complete My Album function on iTunes. Previously, if you bought tracks as 79p singles, and then decided to buy the album, you effectively paid twice for the songs you already owned.
Now, you can use Complete My Album up to 180 days after first purchasing individual songs from any qualifying album to purchase the rest of that album at a reduced price i.e. the cost of the album minus 79p for each song you already own. When you buy any song on iTunes, the corresponding album will immediately appear on your Complete My Album page with the reduced price listed. Genius.
