Be responsible: use Sonnet 2fit laptop sleeve and screen protector : Shiny Shiny

I was recently dismayed to learn the principle of the Golden Goose. Golden Geese lay golden eggs, and it’s the eggs that you really want. But if you want the eggs, you have to look after the goose. If you don’t feed Goose, Goosey corks it, no more eggs. Clearly, it’s one of those obvious things you always knew but never realised, and it applies to EVERY-bloomin’-thing! If you overload your washing machine, you’ll get more laundry done today, but it might break tomorrow. If you don’t service your car, you’ll save money – till it breaks down. If you don’t clean the fridge in the name of efficient cooking this evening, you’ll have to spend all Sunday clearing out the mould. And if you haven't got the metaphor yet, bear with me. All will become clear.

It is in this vein that I introduce the Sonnet 2fit Mac notebook sleeve and screen protector. This is not an interesting, cool, style-conscious or fashionable product. It is a piece of cloth to cover your keyboard with to protect the screen, and a sleeve to put the laptop in before you go on your travels with it. It will take you longer to pack up this way, and you will have to carry more things around with you. And it is only available in grey or black. It is the kind of product that I would normally ignore. But, as I have sagely realised, you have to look after that Goose.

Available to fit geese in the guise of MacBook, MacBook Pro and Powerbook G4 laptops, the 2fit sleeve and screen protector are useful. But something inside me just won’t let me buy it until they make it in a prettier colour.
