There're a lot of practical reasons why LED candles are better than real - if you don't like scent, there isn't any, you won't set light to your curtains and there's no messy wax to clean up. Even though these battery operated candles do emit up to 50 hours of simulated flickering light during those darker moments, there's just none of the ambience that comes automatically with the real version. At $26, they're cheaper than some of the other faux-candles currently around.
