Put an end to snoopy roommates with the Lazer Tripwire from Wild Planet

Perhaps I watch too many spy films, or am just a bit paranoid, but the Wild Planet Lazer Tripwire is now at the top of my geeky 'must have' list. The Wild Planet Lazer Tripwire features three units that can be strategically positioned around an area or object you want to protect. Each unit emits a safe LED beam and can sense other beams being received, which establishes the "safe" perimeter. If the LED beams are tripped, a 48dB alarm will sound. How awesome is that? It's the perfect way to protect your thin mint Girl Scout cookies! But personally, I just want to buy it so I can reenact the scene from Entrapment where Catherine Zeta Jones does that intricate "dance routine" to dodge all the lazer beams...

$24.95 from Wild Planet

This was a must have for my son for Christmas. Don't waste your money. The lasers each have to line up directly into the eye of another unit while having a laser line up directly in their eye, making a big triangle. We spent HOURS trying to get these lined up. Each time you have a laser lined up and you go to move the eye to line up another laser, the first laser is nudged out of line. A total exercise in frustration!!! My son's friend had an older model of these that worked much better.

How sad!!!!!

Thank you for letting me know before I went out and bought them, lol. Good to know! Thank you!
