Susi's over at the Sony Ericsson press launch this morning so hopefully she'll have some nice videos of the products for us soon. In the meantime, I can tell you a little bit about the W880/W888 and W610 Walkman phones that have just been announced.
At just 9.4mm thin, the W880/W888 is the slimmest Sony Ericsson phone to date. It comes with a 1GB Memory Stick Micro (that's room for around 900 track) a 2-megapixel camera, picture blogging, RSS reader and an impressive 18 hours music playback (let's hope that's true). It should be available in the coming weeks, pricing to be confirmed.
The W610 has room for 470 songs on the included 512MB Memory Stick Micro. It's got TrackID music recognition on it, which you can use to identify unknown songs that you've recorded onto your phone. There's also a 2-megapixel camera on board, and picture blogging. It comes in "Plush Orange" and "Satin Black" flavours and there's an FM radio, Bluetooth audio streaming, Push Email services and 25 hours music playback or 7 hours of talk time. Expect it in the second quarter of 2007.
