Bristol Sound & Vision Show '07 - Denon's DVD-2930 player

We've been talking recently on Shiny Shiny about DVD-upscaling, whether that be in DVD players or projectors, but they've all been on the fairly pricey side...up until now. Last Friday I travelled to Bristol to attend the Sound & Vision show, and feasted my eyes upon Denon's new DVD-2930 player, a more affordable version of their DVD-A1XVA but which uses most of the same technology, for less money. Not only does the player upscale to that beloved 1080p HD, but it also enhances standard DVD pictures with near broadcast-quality picture improvement circuitry. I was told that this technology also processes each individual pixel in real-time, which enhances sharpness and minimises picture noise. It's on the market as we speak, for £649.99.
