Having once had the misfortune of living next door to the little drummer boy, I'd like to just take a quick moment here to give thanks to whoever it was who dreamt up the USB drum kit - for not only is it quick and easy to assemble, you can also set it to play through your headphones, meaning no noise for the neighbours. Hallelujah!
It's good news for aspiring drummers, too. This little piece of equipment may not be quite as rock n' roll as real drums, but given that all you have to do is plug it into your USB port and get drumming, it's a pretty good stopgap until fame and fortune come a-calling...

Hi. I just picked one of these up, and noticed that the number one comment people make is that it's not possible to use it outside of the software and drum samples provided. Not strictly true!
