When I first read about this I thought it was another one of those healthy eating drives the supermarkets are always so keen to foist on us in the new year, but no - they're talking about Apple computers (or just plain "Apple" as they now prefer), which are coming soon to a supermarket near you. Well, they are if you like in the UK, anyway.
Tesco has been trialling "Apple Zones" in its Milton Keynes stores, and so successful have the zones been that the supermarket has now made the decision to introduce them at nine more stores in the UK. The zones sell a range of 75 Apple products and accessories, and are staffed by Apple employees. You'll find them in Tesco Broadstairs, Leicester, Stockton, Addlestone, Pittsea, Merthyr Tydfil, Leeds Seacroft, Wath-upon-Dearne and Homeplus Chelmsford.
