As someone who doesn't watch telly at all (I read books and prat around on the internet instead), I've got no real interest in HD-this and plasma-that. My laptop's got a wide enough screen to keep me happy, and that's all I really care about.
At least, it used to be - until I read about Predicta's Meteor retro TV over on Brandish. They've given it quite a rundown that I won't bother repeating, but it looks really cool, and can be hooked up to cable and DVD players, so the all tech can be yours with a frisson of retro credibility. And if you're not too keen on the Meteor, there are loads of other equally cool designs to choose from on the website. Price on application, and we all know what that means...
