It's been a Star Wars kind of week here at Shiny Towers. There was the R2D2 media center, then the light sabre/Skype phone (best case of technology mash-up I've ever seen), so I thought a Geek Chic Star Wars tribute would be appropriate. [All that was entirely irrelevant, since this is in fact an original 70's Cylon Raider from Battlestar Galactica. And so thank you to Mairaid for your superior sci-fi knoweldge. You rock.] Also, I love the jewellery at this place, and would like everyone else to like it also. They're based in LA, and their website is a bit like being on a fairground ride - all very 'scream if you want to go faster'. Anyway, this is their Raider Ring, which comes in both silver and gold, with prices ranging from $180 to over $3000, depending on your material. May the force be with you.
