Did we mention Apple TV?

We were very excited about the not so imminent arrival of the iPhone. So much so, that we kind of brushed over the other announcement from Apple that day - Apple TV. It's previous incantation was iTV, but we can only assume Apple realised their copyright infringement in the UK (something they entirely failed to have noted with regards to Cisco).

So, what is it? Well, it's a bit like an iPod for your TV, incorporating a 40GB hard drive for your media, proper wireless for streaming, USB 2.0, ethernet and an iPod remote. It'll wirelessly synch your iTunes with your TV, which is more useful for the US lot, who actually have proper movies and TV shows on iTunes rather than just trailers. Still, maybe by the time it's released, they'll have sorted that. Expect it in February for £199.

Reproducing three letters previously used by someone else can't possibly be a copyright infringement, although I dare say it could have infringed ITV's trademark, which is not the same thing as a copyright.

Does anyone know when these are actually released!!!
