CES 2007: R2D2 mobile entertainment system

Star Wars fans, prepare to wet your lady knickers. This is one serious piece of kit. A complete mobile entertainment system in the form of an R2D2 robot, this baby will play radio, CD, MP3, WMA and most other music formats, project DVDs, games and photos onto your wall or ceiling and move around the floor whilst doing so...

The R2D2 Mobile Entertainment System's also got an iPod dock and a memory card slot, and plays all your stuff on an integrated stereo system. All this, and it comes with a remote control that looks like the Millennium Falcon. It'll set you back $2,500 (so better start selling those Luke Skywalker action figures). It should be coming to the UK this summer, and is likely to cost about £1,500. See Nikkor2d2.com for more.
