CES 2007: Philips DCP portable media players let you watch stuff from your iPod on a bigger screen!

dvdipod.jpgPutting video on your iPod is all well and good, but there's something a bit wrong about watching films on such a tiny screen. Philips have just announced a pair of products that'll change all that. The new DCP portable media players come with video iPod docks along with DVD players and memory card readers, making them some of the most versatile portable media players around, supporting everything from standard DVD format to DivX downloads and MP4s.

The swivel screens come in 7" and 8.5" sizes depending on the model and display your vids in widescreen format with a battery life of up to 2.5 hours (so you can watch anything except King Kong). As an added extra, once you've docked your iPod, it'll charge while you're watching your videos. All this is yours for $149 for the smaller DCP750 or $199 for the DCP850, coming in Spring.
