There's also a dual drive for your computer, which will play both Bluray and HD-DVD - the GGW-H10N. It is also able to record Bluray discs (as well as CDs and DVDs), although not HD-DVD. It's going to cost $1,199.
The Super Multi Blue Drive can be connected to both a TV and a computer and the screen fills the maximum possible size using a simple menu, making it realistic to be used in the home. The same problem of additional extras on both formats which plagues the dual player isn't an issue here. Thanks to the computer power behind it, all the extras for both formats can be accessed.
