It's typical that someone dreams up a gadget like this long after I finished university and stopped having any use for it, but for those of you still hitting the books hard, this isn't just a gadget - this is a lifesaver. OK, maybe I exaggerate about the "life saving" bit, but the Infoscan will stop you getting cramp in your hand as you painfully transcribe all those pesky notes. Use it just like a highlighter, but instead of turning the words you're "highlighting" yellow, it'll transfer them into its memory, from where you can upload them to your computer or PDA.
Infoscan holds up to 500 pages of printed data, which means less time in the library or office, and more time in the pub/bed/wherever you fancy. Just remember to actually read all those notes it's taken for you though...
