Star's sudden and untimely death at the start of the week knocked us all for six, and although the site keeps on going, we're all feeling the loss of her sparkling wit and satirical eye. Since we loved her writing so much, it seems only right that we celebrate her super-ness with a look back at some of our favourite Star posts.

Solid Alliance USB Ghost Detector: "Outside of being asked to star in an X-Files remake, I find myself hard pressed to imagine a situation in which I'd require a USB flash drive that can also function as a preternatural activity detector."
Beside Phone Center with Dock for iPod: "Just look at it. How smug it looks"
Webcams To Make You Pretty: My preference for digital communication largely hinges on the fact I can do it in my pyjamas and without having to bother with social niceties like brushing my hair and putting on make-up.
Menstrual Mirror: "I'm afraid it's still not selling me. Maybe if they add a chocolate dispenser, I'll reconsider."
