Now, I don't wish to sound like an antisocial no-hoper, but I often find New Year's Eve parties to be something of a disappointment. I am a natural pessimistic optimist, in that I generally imagine the worst, safe in the knowledge that I will (usually) be pleasantly surprised. Of course, this rather falls down in the over-hyped extravaganza that is New Year.
This year, I'm going to invest in a Bop-It Extreme 2, then I will have something to do during the quiet moments between eating all of the party nibbles, being sick and waiting for Jools Holland to announce the stroke of midnight.
And to ensure I look (slightly) less of a gadget-obsessed child, it now comes in chic black or white.

I got one of these toys for my daughter for xmas. They can be annoyingly fun at times, but when trying to watch the tv they can just be annoying. Still, my daughter is happy with it and her many other presents.
