Selfridges has got a seriously limited-edition (there are only four) chocolate fountain that has been plated in 24 carat gold. So it costs £5000. Gulp.*
According to the maker - Giles and Posner - the fountain is cordless, rechargable and works with virtually any type of chocolate. Although I'm assuming it favours this stuff.
* There is a non-gold-plated version by Giles and Posner that costs £229.
