Part music player, part fashion accessory - now that's what I like to see! BenQ's MusiQ MP3 player has all the style of a soldier on parade, and it plays music too. It's a 512MB/1GB player with built-in microSD card slot and it even comes with chain earphone cable, for added authenticity. There are two designs to choose from: a "wings" design for boys and a "magic bean" for girls (best not to ask what that's about, I suspect), although I see no reason why you shouldn't be a rebel soldier and pick the "boys" design if you so wish.
These won't be available online until December 15th, but when they do appear they'll be worth the wait as BenQ will be throwing in limited edition gift sets containing metal bracelets and carrying cases.

BenQ's going soldier style, alright. Dishonoring the soldiers who were forced to fight after 9/11 by disgracefully using images from the World Trade Center ruins as a cheap gimmick for their advertising:

As a U.S Marine and Desert Storm vet we would have jumped at the chance to have something like this. On patrol on duty or in the feild hours can go by and bordem sets in. You may not have a lot of storage space for a conventional mp3 player. This hanging around my neck and easy to get to would have been great.
And as a USAF member and OIF veteran I say you're full of shit, MacVicta. Waaah, OMG, they showed a picture of 9/11 in an ad, like American companies haven't done the same thing! I think someone's just jealous because their iPod Shuffle has been upstaged.
Is this dogtag BenQ mp3 player available in the US? I can't find it anywhere.
