T-Mobile Announce Launch of MDA Compact III

mda.jpg

Today the lovely folks at T-Mobile announced they'd be selling the MDA Compact III, the first mobile phone available in Blighty with a built-in GPS satellite receiver. What does that mean for us simpletons? Well, with satellite navigation, the phone will give you turn-by-turn instructions, detailed street mapping, and route calculation for in-car or foot. It's also got the usual features - T-Mobile's Web'n'Walk internet service (which I myself have on the previous model, and couldn't live without), Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and a whole shebang of other goodies. It's available from the 16th of November, and will cost £59.99 when purchased on the Flext 35 tariff plus web’n’walk (£42.50 per month). Now, if only I hadn't just bought the previous model three months ago...
