There's a whole bunch of personal safety devices marketed at women because lets face it, it's just not safe out there. What with mace being illegal here, here's another option. StoppaRed. The idea is that if you are being attacked or threatened, spray this canister from up to 12 feet to leave an icky, sticky red goo on your assailents face giving you time to react and run. The goo will stain skin and clothes for up to seven days with the dye visible under UV lamp for several weeks after, hopefully making them identifiable to the boys in blue.
I'm told this is legal and non-toxic.
